There were 27 total single family sales for the month of May, 2011 ranging in price from $120,000 to $287,900. Last month, there were 29 total single family home sales. There were 2 less Coconut Creek single family homes sold in the month of May, 2011 than in April, 2011.
Among the 27 sales for the month of March, 16 were distressed sales (bank foreclosures, corporate owned, or short sales). 59% of the sales were distressed ones. For the past few months, over half of the overall single family homes sold were distress sales. You probably are thinking that this news is very bad for the Coconut Creek real estate market.
